We’re Back!

Yay! So happy to be back at choir again this week after what feels like a never ending break!  Tuesday night was great.  We had 4 new people turn up who all seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves.  It was lovely for me to see current members of the choir making them feel so welcome and at ease.

Considering we haven’t sung together since before the summer holidays, I was very impressed with the quality of the singing.  Everyone gelled well together vocally.  

I’ve decided I need to start taking “Bohemian Rhapsody” a bit more seriously, as it was requested again, so I am in the process of arranging it and look forward to teaching it to the choir over the next few weeks.

It was lovely to see a few more people putting their hands up to sing a line or two as a solo.  This always impresses me as I can remember only too well how nerve-racking this can be.

We are already arranging our Christmas Dinner and have already had our first singout request!  More new on this later.  Right, I’m off to do some arranging.
